Prosumer Camera: Canon HV20
Tagged Under : 1080i, 24f, 35m adapter, canon hv20, hd, hv30
There are dozens of consumer and prosumer video cameras out there within the vicinity of $1000. All have their ups and downs. However, none of them come close to Canon HV20. Not only it’s cheap (retail value $800) but also shoots HD 1080i at 24F. Now that’s wicked. I recently used HV30 (one model up) but still HV20 has better features and boy it looks like a pro camera. I loved it so much that I just bought a used one and can’t wait to get it.
To add on, the beauty of this camera is that you can mount on 35mm adapter and make it work almost like XH A1 and other high end cameras which cost 4 times as much. I sure will be putting up footage from the camera when I get it in a week’s time. Take a peak below
